The company "Ghetaldus optika" d.d. was founded in 1957 under the name of the Optical Industry "Ghetaldus" with a retailer in Gajeva 2c street.

In 1970, the Optical Industry "Ghetaldus" had 14 business units, 1980s 19 business units and in 1991 23 business units.

Thanks to the half-century tradition, Ghetaldus optics has incorporated its highest value on the Croatian market. These are in the first place knowledge, perseverance and high quality of service. "GHETALDUS OPTIKA" is today the largest manufacturer and supplier of all kinds of ophthalmic eyeglasses for eye correction, sunglasses, contact lenses, domestic and world famous manufacturers.
