Bakery Dubravica was established in1961. year as a family tradition based on traditional production. Today, the new plant in Zaprešić has over 5000 m2 of space and is one of the most modern in this part of Europe.
Tradition
Our bread and rolls are made from a proven original recipe, where we use local ingredients and preparation that includes a lot of invested effort and the manual work of our valuable bakery workers, and there is also a traditional vanilla pan in the oven that gives that reminiscent taste so well-known from childhood. Because only the knowledge and experience of the previous generations can bring forth the bread that our ancestors would be proud of.
Quality
Freshly baked flour freshly ground in domestic mills, water refined by a special swirling method to acquire the properties of natural spring water, carefully cultivated natural pastry and sour dough, and a gentle touch of cutting-edge modern technology. Only the best ingredients and methods are good enough for bread from Dubravica, bread crowned with quality.
innovation
The recipes and methods of making bread, founded by our founder Franjo Mikelec more than 50 years ago, are still nourishing today and we are constantly upgrading them according to the new dietary knowledge and consumer requirements. In a specially designed small bakery we mix and bake bread and rolls test samples to enhance some of the existing products or develop a brand new one.
